The Chaiway is a not-for-profit teaching ministry founded in 2005. No fundraising is done, and no donations are requested.
The Chaiway arose out of a life that has been forever, and beautifully altered, as the ministry founder, Diane, dug into the Scriptures to reconcile her new faith in Jesus, with her Jewish cultural and ethnic identity.
This website is a biblically accurate journey through Scripture to illustrate how the knowledge of God, the concept of salvation, the meaning of salvation, the reality of an eternal existence, and so much more, moved from non-existent, to conceptual, to 100% certainty in her life.
Diane has worked in various fields and jobs, possesses a BA degree in education and psychology, published a memoir, worked with Chosen People Ministries for several years, facilitates small group and one-on-one bible studies, and is a continual student of the Bible, as we are forever learning.
Diane has been married to her high school sweetheart for 33 years. They are blessed with two fabulous, hard-working, young adult children; a wonderful son-in-law; two fun, adorable cats; a small extended natural family; a precious further extended family through our daughter’s marriage; beautiful friendships; and the gift of a treasured large spiritual family including many of the aforementioned relationships.
Diane, and her husband are both Jewish, and as adults they both received Jesus as Lord and Savior, being brought by God to the realization and understanding that Jesus is the Messiah of the Hebrew scriptures. They remain connected to their Jewish heritage with a richness and fullness that is joyous and precious.
Some information on Jewish identity and being a follower of Jesus
Diane openly and genuinely thanks God in everything about her life. Her house is not a glass house from which she peers out onto the world sitting all high and mighty. Diane is in the trenches just like you, with many battle scars. That is real life here on earth. Yet, as she emphatically states, these messy moments are priceless in the journey, for God is right there.
The Chaiway Website exists for we are not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
